What happens if I can’t locate on your website the speaker
or entertainer that I’d like to book?
Answer:
There are many speakers and entertainers who we book but who
do not wish to be listed in our catalog or on our website.
They are available to us so call or e-mail PDA and we’ll let
you know if we represent them. |

If I have receive a quote from another agency for an
entertainer or speaker can I contact you for a price quote?
Answer:
Absolutely. Many of our competitors will quote very high
fees in the hopes that you will not contact us. PDA is very
competitive and will take any reasonable offer to the
entertainer or speaker. |

Question:
What happens if an entertainer or speaker has to cancel
their appearance?
Answer:
PDA will be happy to reschedule the entertainer or speaker
on a mutually acceptable date or PDA will locate an
entertainer or speaker that is acceptable to you to speak or
entertain on the date that was cancelled. |

Question:
If I book and entertainer or speaker through PDA do I have
to pay a commission or finders fee to you?
Answer:
No. The entertainer or speaker will pay PDA a commission for
booking them. You pay us nothing. |

Question:
Can I negotiate the fee that an entertainer or speaker
requires.
Answer:
PDA will be happy to take your offer to the entertainer or
speaker. |

Question:
Do I have to arrange for air travel, limo and hotel for the
person I book?
Answer:
PDA will do all of the arranging and bill you for the cost
of the expenses or if you prefer, your organization can
arrange for the travel and hotel. |

Question:
Do I have to arrange for hotel accommodations or can you do
that for me?
Answer:
PDA can make hotel reservations for you and we can pay in
advance for the accommodations. Although it might be better
for you to make the arrangements as you know the nicer and
more convenient hotel in your area and chances are your
organization can obtain a lower rate. |

How far in advance should I book the speaker or entertainer?
Answer:
If you are trying to fill one particular date then it is
best to book six months to a year in advance. If you have
some flexibility with the dates then we would suggest at
least a month or two in advance. |

Question:
If I don’t have a speaker or entertainer in mind can you
make recommendations that would meet my needs?
Answer:
PDA will research those speakers or entertainers who are in
your price range and who are available when you need them
and e-mail a list to you. |

Question:
What are the
payment schedules for a particular entertainer or speaker?
Answer:
Typically 50% of the fee is required as a deposit upon
signing of the contract and the remaining 50% is paid ten
days before the date of the engagement. If you have a
problem meeting these stipulations, PDA will be happy to ask
the speaker or entertainer to waive their financial
requirements. |

How can I save money on the cost of a speaker or
entertainer?
Answer:
PDA can recommend speakers or entertainers who live nearby
or speakers or entertainers who are already lecturing or
entertaining in your area and a special tie-in or en-route
fee can be arranged. |

Can PDA help me if I am looking for a speaker in particular
area, topic or expertise and I have a tight budget?
Answer:
PDA can provide you with names and bio’s of hundreds of
experts and authorities in your area of interest and can
narrow the field based on your budget requirements. |

Do you charge for publicity material sent to me such as
photographs, biographies, posters or general promotional
information?
Answer:
No. All publicity material is sent to you free of charge. |

If I would like to order your general catalog or your
cultural diversity catalog would there be a charge?
Answer:
Our catalogs will be sent to you free of charge. |

Question:
If an entertainment or lecture agency represents someone
exclusively can you still book that person for me?
Answer:
Yes. PDA works with all of the entertainment and lecture
agencies in the country and booking those people through PDA
will cost you no more as we split the commission with the
agency. |

Why is it better to work through you rather than go directly
to a non-exclusive speaker or entertainer?
Answer:
PDA can more easily negotiate with the speaker or
entertainer for a better fee than you can. Our business is
to negotiate fees and we do it successfully every day. |
